Celebrating Reshia and baby Jocelyn

YAY for babies!!! My really good friend Reshia is having a GIRL!!! I'm so excited for her and can't wait to meet her little one. Here are a few pics of the baby shower that she had last Saturday. My mom and I had a great time watching her open up gifts, theses are a few outfits we bought for her little Jocelyn who will be here at the end of April =)

A night out with friends from Hawaii

Mitch's friends from Hawaii came into town on Thursday night and we went to dinner at Filippi's Pizza in Little Italy. It was great catching up and finally meeting Tracy, Christina and her family. Here we are again Tracy, Hannah, me, Christina, Maya, and Alex. Hannah really liked my necklace =)

Happy President's Day!!

Today is President's Day! A day off, unfortunately Mitch doesn't have the day off . I know he hates running tons of errands so what better day to do them while he's working hard for for his family. It's just Sadie and me today so while I run my errands she'll be holding down the fort =) Doesn't she look thrilled to get another picture taken ha ha?!! So to all of you that have the day off I hope you're enjoying an extra day to unwind.

What a great day to start the morning off with a walk around the neighborhood, a stop at Twig's Coffee Shop, then a few pictures on our deck. We hope this beautiful weather sticks =) Have a great weekend everyone!! xoxo

MAD DOG

Friarfest 08. We got a ball signed by the Mad Dog himself. He just announced this could possibly be his last season. His son turned 11 and he would like to be involved more in his son's life by going to his little league games. Go Padres!

What a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood!

What a difference in today's weather from pouring down rain to beautiful sunny yet breezy weather. You have to love San Diego weather!! We are so spoiled and blessed to live in such a great city. I hope you all are enjoying the day let's pray the weather stays this way for the three day weekend.

I just love this picture of Sadie, she is posing and actually looking at the camera this time =) What a pretty girl she is =) I can't believe she is almost 3 in people years that is, in cat years she's an old lady!!

Creation vs. Evolution

Mitch and I have been visiting Maranatha church in Rancho Bernardo lately and we really love it and Pastor Ray Bentley is full of wisdom and teaches truth from the Word of God. We have been visiting on Saturday evenings at 7 pm since it's quite a drive up to RB. They recently had these two amazing speakers Dr. Ken Ham and Carl Kerby, they are creationist not evolutionist these men speak the truth as to who created us, and when and why we were created and cleared up that millions of years ago theory that so many of us have been taught. The ministry is called Answers in Genesis and they have this amazing creation museum in Kentucky. Now we have a reason to visit Kentucky haha!! If you have a chance check out the website answersingenesis.com you will be glad that you did, there are great resources to defend our faith the biblical way and to recognize when our favorite tv shows and movies are using the evolution message. You would be surprised I mean it goes back as far as the Three Stooges!! There are some excellent resources for raising children as well. I hope you will visit the website and soak up the truth =)
